From Kashmir To Punjab
Left Kashmir and landed at Amritsar(Punjab) early this week. Spent couple of days at amritsar, visiting the famous Golden Temple and the other Sikh Gurudwaras around it.
Golden Temple is a magnificent work of art constructed in the middle of the lake. During the stay at Amritsar, I spent most of my time in the Golden Temple and enjoyed the authentic Punjabi food.
Yesterday I have come to Anandpur Sahib which is nearly 300kms away from Amritsar, to attend the festival of Hola Mohalla which is on 1st March. But the mela celebrations are on by now and it lasts for a week.
The whole atmosphere here is very lively with huge number of people reaching here everyday.and obviously I am very eager to see the main celebration tomorrow.
