Getting Prepared For Performance
Recently I was on a visit to my native place, Vijayawada, where I shot few young classical dancers, getting prepared for the Kuchipudi(Indian classical dance form) performance. Since my nephew is one of the dance troupe, I could go to her teacher’s house couple of hours before, where these young girls were getting ready for the performance in colorful costumes, head gears, jeweleries all over, and make up of their faces with attractive eyebrows, colorful lips. It is interesting to see that the mothers of these children are more nervous and are helping their children look better in the costumes.
