9x – Route To Hell

9x is one of the bus routes in Hyderabad that runs between Jeedimetla and Charminar.  Whenever I wanted to reach the old city of Hyderabad, I prefer to go by bus than any other means because of the congestion and the traffic in this route.

Like many commuters, I like to travel sitting at the window seat and observe the life that is passing by. Especially when travelling within the city, one can experience the life going on the roads and that too in the mega cities like Hyderabad, you find people people people and people everywhere, nothing else.

After almost a month….

It’s been almost a month since I write my previous blog post. In fact many things have happened in the recent days and few other are going to happen in the near future.

What have happened recently was that I have bought an used Leica M8 digital rangefinder and a new voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 lense for it. And I have been using these in my recent shoots I have done in Hyderabad.  This camera is brilliantly compact that can be carried anywhere as this is so light in weight and appears very small that no one hardly notices or denies while shooting on the streets.

And more going to come in the near future, as I have planned to go on tour which stretches from north west  to north east of India. I am going to quit Hyderabad tomorrow and will be landing at Jodhpur in Rajasthan where my trip begins.

This time I am travelling with a very light gear and not carrying laptop as well. I decided to be as light as possible which makes me to travel freely without any hassles.

Probably I will be updating about this travel only after finishing the trip and I returned home.

My Experiments with the Vision

This happened many times in my photographic endeavor that whenever I come across with a strange way of visual experience, I have a habit of experimenting the same immediately by taking some images and see whether how far I could be able to transform the same visual experience in to an Image.

Here are certain images that I shot recently in and around my home for the same purpose….I am least bothered about the subjects I am shooting, but I am more concerned about how the visual experience captured in an image…..

A day in Kanchipuram

Recently, I have been to Chennai and from there, I made a day trip to Kanchipuram which is about 75kms away from chennai.

Kanchipuram is very famous for the hand-looms and as well for the ancient temples situated there. I visited several temples and some hand-loom weavers during the trip.

A Thought Realized

I started making images for the sole purpose to satisfy my instinct for harmony,  rhythm & balance…..it gradually became an obsession for me.

I have the quest for harmony, rhythm & balance, and trying to find it from my visual experiences,  and recreates it in the form of an image……
